    • AMAL, The Association of Muslim Accountants and Lawyers, celebrated its 40th anniversary at a gala dinner held in Durban on 13th September 2024. This is a significant milestone in the organization’s history Presentations included the history on the organization and key achievements over four decades including highlighting its future strategy. Founding and other key members were recognized for their contribution to this organization. It was noted that the objectives of the organization was relevant 40 years ago and even more relevant today specifically from an Islamic perspective. AMAL membership is open to all. The guest speaker was Zunaid Bulbulia who delivered an excellent presentation on the evolution of technology and its impact on business and mentioned various Artificial Intelligence tools for accountants and lawyers. He also stressed the importance of adapting to the digital revolution and leveraging AI to enhance business operations.
